Zzeus SA+++// Wins Canadian National Championship

August 20, 2008, Regina, Saskatchewan

Zzeus SA and Tammy Bowles won a Canadian National Championship today in third level dressage.  They were 2 points ahead of the nearest competitor, despite Zzeus having a cough since he crossed the border.  Tammy says, “he wanted to win.”

Mikey’s New Owners

Mikey has lovely new owners and is especially fond of Megan, who shows him in the working hunter classes.  He is with the same trainer, Michelle Mahoney, and we still see him.  He will remain on our banner indefinitely.  He goes to Megan with a USEF Horse-of-the Year championship for working hunters in Region 3, and no doubt Megan will continue to add to his wins.   Mikey’s daughter Zzoe remains with us as our rising star in dressage and sporthorse under saddle.

Mikey wins new Achievement Award

Following the 2007 Region 2 Championship show in which Mikey was named Reserve Champion Sport Horse In Hand Stallion, the Arabian Horse Association sent this important announcement.  SA Marzec Sen (Mikey) has been awarded the Legion of Supreme Honor and Legion of Supreme Merit.  He now carries the symbol “+++/” after his name.

Very few horses reach this level.  SA Marzec Sen +++/ and Zzeus SA +++// are two that have, and they were both sired by our senior stallion BA Ibn Dream +/.
