Mares
Two of our mares had an outstanding show season in 2008. Shantilly Lace SA started the year with an excellent showing at Scottsdale 6 weeks after surgery for a greenstick fraction of her splint bone.
She also was the star at Region 1 with Reserve Championships in Sport Horse Under Saddle, Dressage (Tr) and In Hand. Newcomer Zzoe SA and she were Champion and Reserve Champion sport horse mares in hand at Region 2, and both were Top Five iin Sport Horse Under Saddle Junior Horse, as well as in dressage. (Photo pending). Zzoe went on to US Sport Horse Nationals. She was the 3rd ranked horse in Training Level dressage and won Top Tens in SH Mares in Hand with owner Pete and in SH Under Saddle Junior Horse.

Exquisite broodmares are essential to a breeding program. We
were blessed to get Zlota Gora (also called “Goldie”) from
Poland. She has graced us with four outstanding foals, beginning
with Zzena in 1999. See below.
Ten years later, Zlota Gora still has a trot to die for, and her daughter Zzarina, now 3, has the same trot.

Goldie’s daughter Zzena produces big, beautiful athletes with excellent
dispositions. Shown here are their foals sired by SA Marzec Sen– a 2004 filly, Zzoe SA, out of Zzena,
and a 2005 filly, Zzarina (name pending) out of Zzena’s dam, Zlota
Gora.

Miracja (shown below) was
our first pure Polish broodmare. She had an exquisite floating
trot and was an outstanding reining horse. She gave us three sons
before her tragic death in 1998.
Bacharah Bey (Anna), a daughter of Afire Bey
V, gave us three wonderful foals. She is shown in this 2004 photo with her
youngest, Beatriz S A, sired by
Zzeus S A.

Today Beatriz is a lovely mare and ready to carry on the bloodlines of her parents.
PFC Irish Rose is the latest addition to our broodmare line. Bred to ML Afire Dream in 2007, her daughter Iris Dream SA (pending) brings line breeding to Huckleberry Bey to our program.
